The New Hampshire Voters Have Spoken

And they’ve pretty much all said no to new spending and taxes.

It was a night to say no.

Hopkinton voters rejected plans to hire a town manager and shrink the board of selectmen.

Allenstown refused to upgrade the Suncook wastewater treatment plant.

Epsom voters defeated spending requests from the police and fire departments and for repairs to flood-damaged roads. And they voted down the town and school budgets.

Weare voters rejected their budget - as well as a new public works building.

Sounds like there are many voters in New Hampshire that just don’t want new spending. It would seem that selectmen in the state did a poor job in selling the spending increased to the taxpayers on why they should pay higher taxes. ;)
