17-0

It was nothing if not methodical and the Pats won yet again.

By the time it was over, they had advanced to the AFC championship game for the second straight year and remained perfect at 17-0, matching the 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only team to go unbeaten from the first game of the season through the Super Bowl.

The Pats had their plan and boy did they stick to it.

And what’s with the ref’s? There were multiple late hits on Pats players going out of bounds that should have been personal fouls and then there’s the Jaguar touchdown where the replay showed Girrard’s knee was clearly on the ground.

Ah well it doesn’t matter. Time for the Chargers.
