It wasn’t pretty. Heck at times it was downright ugly, but the Pats knew what to do to get it done

For now, after keeping San Diego out of the end zone and before preparing to do the same to the New York Giants in the title game, the Patriots are allowing themselves a breather, three days off after Sunday’s 21-12 win to savor their so-far perfect season.

With all the interceptions that Tom Brady through, it was pretty iffy out there. The ground game took up time and the defense did what the Pats defense always do.

“Defense wins championships,” Hobbs said. “Tonight you saw that, how time and time again those guys got in the red zone and time and time again we kept saying, ‘No, no, no, no, not today.”‘

Sounds good to me. On to Super Bowl 42.
