It’s Not Your Money John!

What the hell is the problem with John McCain?

Presumed Republican presidential nominee John McCain on Monday proposed a $300 million prize to develop a car battery that will “leapfrog” today’s plug-in hybrids.

Hey John, leave your grubby hands off my tax money.

What is it with the republicans and their yearning for my tax dollars?

They’re supposed to be the smaller government party, right?

So John “Mr Independent” McCain proposes yet another big government plan to steal money from taxpayers and chose a company to be a winner.

Nice.

Glad he’s the smaller government politician.

And then there’s this beautiful quote.

“This is one dollar for every man, woman, and child in the U.S.–a small price to pay for helping to break the back of our oil dependency–and should deliver a power source at 30 percent of the current costs,” he said.

Oh gee thanks John. A “small price to pay” using my money.

Hey John I’ve got a better idea.

Why don’t you find 10 billionaires worth at least 3 Billion. Ask them to donate 1% of their wealth to a foundation. When a company comes up with a battery that’s really good, they get the cash. After all, the 30 million is only 1% of their networth AND they get to do something positive for mankind.

I’m thinking you can go ask Mr Brin and Mr Page who already are using the goverment to do their bidding. And I’m sure there are more than a few other billionaires that are using the government to do their dirty work for them. Ask them to pony up the cash but not the taxpayers.

As for me, any extra penny is too damned much.

Hey you republicans, if you want to know why John McCain is going to lose this election badly, you might want to ask him why he and all the other rino’s in DC keep proposing big government boondoggles that are only going to cost the taxpayers more and more money.

As for you Mr McCain, have you no shame in stealing taxpayer money? You should be ashamed of yourself, your lust for power and being president has obviously overtaken any sense of shame or morality.

I have a feeling I’ll be voting for Mickey Mouse this upcoming election. At least he won’t cost me any extra tax dollars.
