I’m really REALLY getting sick of spam.

It’s not the spam that I receive, though that’s a pain in the ass. The blog spam has been completely eradicated by using Akismet.

No the spam that really just burns me up is spam sent using my name.

I just received this email back from some companies Barracuda spam appliance.

NOT BEEN DELIVERED:

Subject: federal maestro

Well ya know what, it’s not me. I haven’t sent any spam and yet, some admin somewhere has just blacklisted my email because some scum sucking dirt eating criminal is sullying my name trying to run a quick one by a person and make some dirty cash.

It bugs me to no end. And there’s not a thing I can do about it. THAT’S the thing that pisses me off.

The way email servers run, anyone can spoof another persons email. And there’s nothing I can do.

I don’t want congress involved. They just screw things up. I want a bounty. I want someone to hunt these bastards down and bring them to me. I have a message that I personally want to deliver to them.
